Our Top Takeaways from 2024 Trade Shows
Attending trade shows is like stepping into a bustling marketplace of innovation, where the latest technologies and trends are unveiled. They also serve as a gathering place to network, make new connections with people in the industry, and 'talk shop' - something we certainly can't take for granted in this post-covid world. As a new player in the manufacturing industry, specializing in automated parts feeding systems, our recent experiences at PackExpo East and Assembly Show South have been nothing short of enlightening. We were able to meet with potential clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders and further establish our presence and expand our reach in the industry.
These shows also allowed us the opportunity to showcase products and services, for these shows we kept it pretty simple, but were able to bring new systems that we feel represent our capability and quality well:
1. O-ring vibratory bowl feeder with a custom hopper and a linear track
2. A unique small-parts vibratory bowl feeder with a custom side-shuttle escapement
3. A Step Feeder designed to feed cylindrical parts in a single file line
4. A large metal parts feeder with a custom sound enclosure for noise-dampening
PackExpo East
PackExpo East was our first trade show, and we left feeling accomplished and energized, excited to contact all of our new leads and stay connected with new friends. Assembly Show South
Assembly Show South trade show is a newer, smaller, regional show in Nashville that stems from The Assembly Show. Here, the booths showcased a wide array of automated solutions (a little different from Pack) that left us inspired and motivated to push the boundaries of our own designs. Specifically, looking at how we can help systems integrators and machine builders in designing parts-feeding systems that can integrate seamlessly into their machines.
Networking with industry professionals provided invaluable insights into market trends and customer needs. We learned about the latest advancements in robotics and how they are revolutionizing manufacturing processes. Witnessing live demonstrations gave us a firsthand look at the efficiency and precision these systems can offer. Engaging with others helped us further understand the importance of quality components in building reliable automated feeding systems.
The seminars offered at the trade show delved deep into topics like Industry 4.0 integration and predictive maintenance strategies. These sessions were cool to attend and broadened our knowledge base and sparked ideas for enhancing our products even further.
